Dorothy is a senior in high school. She has attended church services with her siblings and mother, but her father never went with them. She shared that her father is abusive, and her mother is the sole provider for her family. When Dorothy and her siblings are not at school, they go to work with their mother to help earn money. With all the challenges and struggles at home, Dorothy feels lonely and stressed. She does not have a lot of friends, but she recently decided to attend a youth program hosted by LHM—Uganda at her school. After attending the program, she said, "I want to thank LHM—Uganda so much for the knowledge they shared. For example, they advised us to always have at least one person to talk to concerning the challenges we are going through. I also am relieved of the stress I had as I was reminded that in every situation or challenge, God is always with us and at the end of it all, He is making a way even when you do not seem to see it.
