| Outstanding Ambassadors Recognized During Int'l LLL Convention
Greensboro, NC, Jul. 21, 2009 The International Convention of the International Lutheran Laymen's League is Lutheran Hour Ministries' opportunity every year to recognize stellar achievement by its congregational representatives known as Ambassadors. At this year's event, 30 men and women were honored as LHM's Outstanding Ambassadors for 2009, during both the Ministry Advancement mainstage presentation on Friday and the Ambassador workshop on Saturday.
District leaders nominate Ambassadors for this distinction in recognition of their tireless efforts in promoting the programs of Lutheran Hour Ministries and in building relationships with current and prospective supporters.
Lutheran Hour Ministries Ambassador Consultant Roy Schmidt said, "It gives me great pleasure to acknowledge the hard work of each of these Outstanding Ambassadors in building awareness of LHM, thanking donors, and recruiting new supporters. They are a great blessing to our ministry and to the Body of Christ."
"We all praise God for the servant leadership of these Outstanding Ambassadors," added LHM Ministry Catalyst Andrew Bolin, who oversees coordination of the Ambassador program. "They have their finger on the pulse of their congregations and know best how to develop relationships and build excitement for LHM's mission in their home churches."
